This is the second time I made this Sesame Street 1st Birthday cake. Elmo is very popular with the toddlers, and I really enjoy being able to create this again since it brings back memories of my little guy turning one last May.
The size of this cake is 6"/8"/10", French Vanilla cake with Swiss Meringue Butter cream, covered in Vanilla fondant. The Elmo faces were made using a template I created to fit the size of the cake. Serves about 75 people.
how did you cut the elmo faces for his fur? and how many cups of batter did you use for the tiers? you're so creative! this is perfect! thanks for your inspiration!
